The board of IRS are extremely pleased to formally announce the appointment of Ray Harrison as Technical Director. We welcome this exciting development and very much look forward to benefiting from the continuing vision and professionalism that we have come to admire in Ray over the many years of joint collaboration with him during his previous appointment as Technical Manager.

Many of our much valued clients and indeed our entire team at IRS wish Ray well with the new challenges his extended duties will provide.

Building upon past and current successes, we are pleased to announce that IRS is now officially a research and development accredited organisation.

Autumn 2005

IRS is proud to announce further expansion of high technological services into central Turkey.

The South Eastern Turkish Foundry Group UNLU and IRS UK have now completed negotiations the result of which will make possible a joint venture between the two highly respected organisations.

UNLU Group Chairman Mr. Muzaffer Unlu is quoted as saying: “We are convinced that this joint venture between our two companies will be excellent news for our industries and our Nation both. It is our intention to jointly build a centre of technical excellence within the central Turkish region that will embrace the modern concept of cost efficient technical repair solutions.”

John Berry of IRS UK adds: “Turkey is a natural geographic and commercial choice for IRS. It has been a long and difficult road to find an organisation that share the same uncompromising commitment to quality and service as do we at IRS. We are now confident that we have found such an organisation. IRS is therefore proud to be commercially associated with the UNLU group in central Turkey, and we very much look forward to this quite exciting opportunity.”
